Ephesians 5: 15-17
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do
not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
Hmmm Paul knew the
importance of making smart decisions. He knew that we have to live a certain
way, because THE DAYS ARE evil. Imagine, if they were evil back then what do
you think they are now? 10 maybe 20x eviler?
I like the last
line too because it says, DO NOT BE FOOLISH, BUT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE LORD’S
WILL IS. I think that is vitally important. When we remember that God’s will
needs to be done, not our own, we will refrain from foolish decisions. God’s
will is always to prosper us and to not harm us, to give us hope and a future.
(Jeremiah 29:11)
Therefore choose
this day, to follow God’s will and your life will reflect wise decisions and
prosperity.
God Bless,
