Yet for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered

Doing what is right

It is so easy to go with the crowd. "Everyone is doing it and I do not want to look Un-cool." When did doing the right thing become un-cool? When did standing up for what you believe in make you the black sheep, the outcast? Ladies not only do we have the best role model to look up to (Jesus) but we have many noble women in the Bible to look up to, also. Women who by their actions, by their faith, followed God/believed in God enough so that they went against the grain, went against the norms in order to please the Father. One Heroic woman that comes to mind is Esther.
Esther could have been killed for what she did (admitting that she was a Jew) especially after the edict was passed that allowed for their “destruction.” However that did not stop her, she did not allow fear to get in the way. We can see that it was a constant battle, but Mordecai reminded her that God might have put her in a royal position for just this reason. Esther was without a doubt…stuck, could she throw all God gave her back in his face, just to save her life or would she give up her secret and risk being killed all the same (talk about being stuck in between a rock and a hard place.)
Most likely ladies we will not be stuck in a situation exactly like this , however the principle remains the same. When God calls us to do something, IT WILL BE DONE. Having said that we may be required to leave all we know and love behind, to step out of our comfort zone into the unknown, or even to appear as a “weirdo/un-cool” we might even be required to do a combination of all three. Whatever God has called us to do, we should make that our first priority. It takes a whole lot of courage to do what Esther did, but most importantly Esther had faith that God’s plan for her life was for the best. She knew that He was with her and that he would not forsake her.
My Sisters, there will come a time where we are called to stick up for the bullied, a time to right the injustices and or a time to “Be different and look weird” compared to everyone else. I want to encourage you to stand your ground and BE DIFFERENT… we are not of this world… we just happen to live in it. knowing that, let us start acting like it…and let us not conform to the ways of the wicked. Sisters when God tells us to make a move … we better move! Who knows..... we could have been put in the situation by God for a very specific reason.

God Bless My Sisters,
           Cassie

Verses to Remember:

1 Chronicles 19:13
Be courageous! Let us fight bravely for our people and the cities of our God. May the Lord's will be done.”

Psalms 23:4
Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

Luke 12: 4-5
I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
