Yet for your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered

I know love

I heard a song

And it sung to my soul

With words to describe my struggles

Words describing my pain

I heard a song and it sung.

A beautiful melody, that calmed my soul

Put my problems into perspective

This song was song by my love

God you sung this song to me

You sung it to my heart

And it chilled me to the bone,

Yet warmed me

With your words you took away my sadness

With your words you healed my scars

You lifted me out of darkness

With sweet words that rolled off your lips

In a quiet roar

You spoke to my soul

Three words to that song

Three and that was all

God you sung a song…

Proclaiming your love for me

And that was all

ALL it took to cast out fear

To put me to rest

You said you love me

Because of that I can love you too

I now know love
With your song… I know love

Beautiful Wedding Song

This is how a marriage should be, (both people loving God, more than they love one another) so that they can love each other MORE than ANYONE ELSE!

Dating/ Wanting to Date

I sometimes struggle with wanting to date, I've heard it said like ten million times that I "need to be content with being single." I feel like that is asking the impossible. With movies and cute (real-life couples) it is hard to abstain from wanting. Then I feel guilty for wanting a husband/boyfriend. I just like this video because the pastor pretty much sums everything up.

Hope you enjoyed it!

What the Ephesians!

Ephesians 5: 15-17
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

Hmmm Paul knew the importance of making smart decisions. He knew that we have to live a certain way, because THE DAYS ARE evil. Imagine, if they were evil back then what do you think they are now? 10 maybe 20x eviler?

I like the last line too because it says, DO NOT BE FOOLISH, BUT UNDERSTAND WHAT THE LORD’S WILL IS. I think that is vitally important. When we remember that God’s will needs to be done, not our own, we will refrain from foolish decisions. God’s will is always to prosper us and to not harm us, to give us hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Therefore choose this day, to follow God’s will and your life will reflect wise decisions and prosperity.

OH Psalms ...

So, every night I try to read two chapters of Psalms. I think it is important for God to be the last “Person” on your mind before you go to sleep. So I was reading and I got to Psalms 141. I feel like God always speak to me when I read the Bible, so I got to verse 3 and I just had to re-read it and actually stop and pray it. It was just another confirmation. Psalm 141:3 reads:

Set a guard over my mouth, O Lord;
Keep watch over the door of my lips.

This really stuck out to me, because I personally have a hard time keeping my mouth closed. I mean I’ve been gossiping for so long, you know how it is when you get around your girls. The thing about it is, I don’t talk about people as much (sometimes I do) but other times I just say pointless things. That in itself is gossip… I mean if it does not build up others according to their needs then it is unwholesome! (Ephesians 4:29)

I do not know how many of you are struggling with this. I just want to encourage you to keep on trying to work on it. Pray that God takes control of your mind, pray that you will become slow to SPEAK, slow to anger and QUICK to listen.

Remember that we as Christians are called to be different.  We have to show the world whom we serve. Show the world, by the way we speak, that WE SERVE A LIVING, LOVING GOD; WHO CAME AND DIED FOR OUR SINS.

GOD BLESS!

Verses to Remember:

Proverbs 11:3
A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.

Romans 1:29-31
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanders, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

When the Time Comes

When the time comes
You know the time that came
The time like this
The time that knocks you on your knees
I pray you stand, if nothing else, with these
The sword of the Spirit, and the Shield of faith
Belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness
Helmet of salvation
Feet equipped with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace
All the while trusting in God to put you at ease
Have faith… that you will stand.
Have faith that you can
And will over come
the devil’s schemes are par none
he can’t win what is already won
he can’t undo what has already been done
So remember while you are on your knees
Pray in the Spirit to Thee,
The Almighty One… Alpha and Omega
Our father who art in heaven
Pray to Him to equip you for the battle
Pray to Him to help you get back up on the saddle
And not settle for less
Settle for what the devil considers his best
Because you are more
Sweetheart you are more….
I say you are worth MORE..
far more than what you see
God sees a princess, a beautiful queen
God sees a daughter of Light
A woman saved by His amazing Grace
God sees your struggle and knows your fate
God will get you through these tough times
Just constantly give him praise and acknowledge that he is GREAT.

(What came to me while listening to the song "Times" by Tenth Avenue North)

Be Encouraged!

Proverbs 31 kind of Woman...

Proverbs 31:30
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

Proverbs is such a great book, I know I’ve said this before but I still suggest reading it. It is one of those books that benefits both man and woman. This book speaks to the soul; I mean it is filled with the wisdom of God. I know for sure if you would try to live your life in accordance to it, you’re life would be soooo dramatically different, so fruitful, so beautiful.

What I kind of want to focus on right now is how we as women should act. We are all at the age where we are thinking about marriage/ want to get married. So the next question is how do we attract our husbands? What kind of women is desirable to a man, what qualities should we possess in order to attract a God-Fearing Man ?

I personally think we do not have to look any further than God himself. He’s given us instructions on what kind of women is noble and what kind of woman we should be in proverbs. He also gives us examples on what kind of woman we should not be, you know the kind with legs spread wide open, easy; a modern day Jezebel.

Ladies, it will take a while to become the woman God has designed us to be. My suggestion to you is to let God build you into that Beautiful woman. There is no need to rush into marriage (ring by spring). There is no need to settle down, especially when life is just getting started; just let God mold you into the woman proverbs speaks about.

God Bless Sisters,
     Cassie

Here are some verses to start you off, (I REALLY SUGGEST READING THE WHOLE BOOK FOR YOURSELF)

Verses to Remember:
Proverbs 31:26
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue

Proverbs 31:10-12
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.

Proverbs 31:25
She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.

Verses that give you an example of what NOT to be:
Proverbs 7:21-23
With persuasive words she led him astray; she seduced him with her smooth talk. All at once he followed her like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer stepping into a noose till an arrow pierces his liver, like a bird darting into a snare, little knowing it will cost him his life.

Proverbs 7:25-27
Do not let your hearts turn to her ways or stray into her paths. Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death.

(^^AVOID BEING THIS WOMAN ^^)
